- Amasis can see the future, and was given this ability via a blessing by the Sun God before he was born (with his brother, Ari, being blessed by the Moon God, as the two gods were twins themselves). It can stretch an unknown amount of time into the future, though the further it goes, the more it strains him, so he hasn't fully tested its length; in addition, while the future he sees is always clear and correct, the future can be changed as well, meaning what he sees does not necessarily have to come about. This blessing also makes him stronger during the day, resistant to heat, and able to see through bright and blinding lights without any issue or harm to his eyes.
- Amasis is fully blind, which came from an accident; he and his brother were violently attacked, and while they were repelled, Amasis was blinded in the fight with his eyes having been maimed. Eventually, with his brother feverish and dying, Ari entreated their patron deities to help. The twin gods agreed and did so, healing them both and granting them immortality; unfortunately, Amasis' eyes were too far gone for even the gods to save, so instead, the Moon God simply removed the sockets entirely, making his face completely blank and solid there to avoid any further complications. Amasis is still deeply bitter about this, and feels the gods should have stepped in far sooner.
- Amasis is very skilled with magic, and is good at inscribing things. He used to have good handwriting before he lost his sight, but he can still make very powerful charms.
